The Road

I hear a glade scraping against rock. Jax who has been waiting to go hiking and I walk outside and the noise is coming from Hurrah Pass somewhere. We get in the truck and head for the pass and find this.

They're grading the road. Say it will be Wednesday before they finish but it will be done right. I can call the propane company and the septic truck to empty the tanks while the road is good.

Decent amount of people staying over the holidays and life looks good for them. Good road coming in ahd temps in the 40s to 50s for hiking. No snow in the next two week forecast.
