Stuff

While I'm doing paperwork and booking requests in the mornings Jax gets his sleep in the window sun. He's so cute.

At least two ringtails sleep in the battery and converter rooms so they can get a little heat coming off the electrical equipment. It wakes up, yawns, and goes back to sleep.

Got Kobae's hole all sealed up. Few years ago a badger moved in one winter while Kobae was gone. Wasn't much fun trying to get it to move out before Kobae got back. I dug a ditch on the inside of the fence to make the fence taller to prevent Kobae from getting out this coming year. I did that yesterday so guess the camera date is off by one week, probably been that way awhile.

Got most of the road fixed through out the property. This what the road looked like when it gave out under one of my trucks with Jax and I in it, and this is what it looks like today.

I was getting ready to brag that the mountain lion hasn't showed up the last three times that it was scheduled but no critters showed up to eat tonight. None, that means the mountain lion is here. Things are weird. There are five cows today wandering around the property. Jax and I got four of them out today hearding them with the side by side while Jax chased them nipping at their feet but we saw another one tonight coming back from a check in. There are five mule deer, and three big horn showed up today. Something has been stealing the food bowls from out in the fox feeding area. Just picking them off and walking away with all the food. So we bought metal, glass, and heavy plastic ones. Now something is bringing one empty plastic bowl back for the last three nights. Wind is blowing hard tonight. Something is coming.
