Things Have Changed
Kobae and I went on our first walk down the dead end canyon I have to pick him up since the rains. My hope was that it had dumped a bunch more dirt in there and I wouldn't have to pick him up so high. The opposite happened. There was so much water it left a muddy sinkhole and I now have to pick him up about a foot and a half or so higher than I used to have to. Reading while Kobae rests in the shade.

Did Kobae snap that photo of you reading?
He did. Kobae is a man of many talents. He hikes forever, eats cactus, craps and pees wherever he wants, thinks he can swim, has a grocery bill of $110 plus every week, chases dogs, can do turnarounds inside a bread basket and when he's done hump the front stairs for 45 minutes, four times a day. All hail Kobae.
No wonder you love him so.
Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
