The Cheater

Ringtail gets food in the morning, at dusk, it's the Gray Fox(es) turn. The Ringtail knows the Gray Fox will be arriving soon, but is out to eat as much of the fox food as it can before he/she/they arrive. The Ringtail keeps looking to the west where the Gray Fox comes up from the river each evening. Then, the Ringtail's nose begins twitching. A Gray Fox is coming. Has to get one more piece of hot dog. When the Gray Fox arrives, it keeps looking to where the Ringtail comes out from under the porch and is no doubt watching. Shortly after the fox left, a skunk showed up (to dark to video) went under the porch, where it ran into the Ringtail. Tom heard the commotion under the office, and then the Skunk sprayed. The stench, also inside the lodge, lasted for hours.
