The Train Station

Over all the years I hate to hurt a critter of almost any kind. Ants, an occasional scorpion, and a few spiders. That's it. I was even eating turkey bacon one day and two turkeys showed up to eat with the morning feeding of the birds. They were so cute I never ate turkey bacon again. I felt horrible. The rock squirrels have terrorized the place for years. They come in the lodge trying to steal the sunflower seed collection we feed the birds, they eat the wires on two of my three trucks, have eaten mine twice.
Digging holes and tunnels everywhere. I saw down in one out by where the rock squirrel Godfather lives behind Kobae's house. He's a monster. Looks similar to Jabba the Hut, but he's bigger, the rock squirrel Godfather that is. Their tunnel system looks like New York City. They go underground and then pop up 50 feet away. So, we've taken to putting Kobae food in a small cage and trapping them. This is number 18. Then we take them half way up Hurrah Pass and release them. There should be quite a collection up there by now. I think we still have seven or eight of them left. We call it the Train Station as in the series Yellowstone but we don't hurt them. Jax chases them around this rock three or four times and then they sprint into a cluster of rocks or when I start up the side by side Jax comes running back to the road and jumps in.
