Truck in the Canyon

Jax and I hiked down to the truck.

Before driving to school and back each day Linny and I had a heart to heart about seat belts. We decided to not wear them on the way to town. If we went off Hurrah we figured we were dead. If we didn't have them on we had a chance to bail out if we saw the truck going that way for whatever reason. That extra couple seconds to undo the seat belt might have made the difference if we were able to get out. Now 12 years later I look at this deployed seat belt and if this guy lives, I don't know if he did or not, it might be an argument for wearing them.

Hard to believe he came out of that alive. The dog too.
