Same Ol, Same Ol

Last week people came by saying they couldn't get to Chicken Corner cause there was a gate across the road. I went down and wired the cowboy gate open since somebody is closing it again and the cows won't be here until November. The last two days people have been coming by saying the road to Wind Caves and Chicken Corner is closed. Linny and I drove over and there is a fence going into the dead end canyon but some don't see where the road then goes up the hill and when they do there is (was) a sign that said "No vehicles" It's meant for an area that had heavy trespassing off road a year or so ago but folks are taking it to mean the whole road no vehicles. So we took that sign down and then headed up above the river to see if we could get a view that would tell us if we could kayak around the island. When getting there it looks like we have a beach but the mosquitoes while declining are still memorable so that will take a day when I feel like I need a blood transfusion to go work on the weeds, trail, and stairs. Experimented with Kobae hauler on side by side but rolled it so we have some work to do.
