Many years ago when the mining roads were being cut the bulldozers and other heavy equipment of the time didn't have tread and it's pretty easy to see where the dozers of the time had gone.
In previous explorations on the Amasa Back I've found places where the water ripples were going north to south, west to east......but today they appear to have been in little swirls during this period of being underwater. A day of looking for the dinosaur footprints ends in disappointment. I have a picture to work with showing the Behind the Rocks area and the La Sal Mountains in the background and I still couldn't find them. The La Sals were clouded in today and I was unable to see them which would have helped with how high or low the tracks were on the Amasa Back.
