So far it's holding up. Got the tight board in there and three really heavy rocks but from the piece of wood that's been peeled off the raccoons haven't given up. Anticipating this I had an extra piece of exact fitting wood made.

Will they move steel wool? We stuff steel wool around pipe entries in the country manufactured home to discourage rodents.
