Surrounded by the Amasa Back, Hurrah Pass, Anticline, and Dead Horse Point and with the Colorado River running alongside, you’ve discovered Base Camp. A one of a kind wilderness lodge.
I did. I'm not happy with my physical condition this year so far. I wondered if I hiked Hurrah every morning for 30 days what would happen. However on the third day I got bored of the same hike so headed off a different direction. My mind every morning begins thinking of excuses not to go. I've found that if the body goes, the mind will follow.
Quite an effort. Other years you make lots of hikes during the winter and keep your conditioning. Better to vary the hikes and types of efforts anyway or it doesn't do as much good. Your body becomes accustomed to the same old thing. As you are rediscovering, your mind stays sharp that way too. Keep up the good work!

You made this beautiful hike twice?
