The Nightly Hot Dog Ritual
Each evening, Kitty and one or two other ring tails come to the porch before the badger, raccoons, foxes, and skunks show up to get their hot dogs. Usually hanging in the rafters high above where predators might be able to get them they wait patiently for myself and whoever is staying here to take marsh mellow sticks with hot dogs on the ends reaching as high as we can where ring tails come as far down the poles as their comfort level will allow them. (As always click on the DSCF number in the upper left hand corner of the picture frame to make it larger.)
