From the first corner after the pavement ends on the journey to Base Camp, Tom previously found a few petraglphys and then many more on the trail leading to the Tombstones where folks Base Jump. His feeling was there had to be more in between the two but he'd never taken the time to hike the whole canyon wall and explore. He has now.

What is the one that looks like a barbell?
I wish we had been able to hike it. Maybe next time.
Cynthia, I think Lexi put that there, or maybe it's an early Ipod. I'm headed back there tomorrow and going to spend some time on it. Has me mystified as well. The one figure has huge feet and hands and another has huge feet, another just huge hands. Maybe the same person made them and overdid whatever the barbell means. I'm going to really look them over tomorrow and see if I can figure it out.
