Normally, Kobae won't come out to go hiking until the temperature drops below 90. On Thursday, with the mercury kissing 102 at 3:30 in the afternoon, Kobae headed down the driveway. Kobae found a creek bed to climb, checked out the view, and then it got a little tricky on the slick rock on the way down. Whenever he got hot, was easy to find shade, for one.
