Surrounded by the Amasa Back, Hurrah Pass, Anticline, and Dead Horse Point and with the Colorado River running alongside, you’ve discovered Base Camp. A one of a kind wilderness lodge.
This Cave house is abandoned and is about 20 miles south east of Base Camp. There is a whole community, six to eight I'd say, of homes in the side of a large rock formation not far from there. Was pretty neat. Like a subdivision, but all in one rock.
Before I found this place I looked at lots of Cave houses throughout the area. There are hundreds of them. This particular one, Rockland Rand is http://cbs5.com/national/polygamist.cave.homes.2.866760.html

Is that THE cave house or the neighbor across the river?

Whats the story with them? Who built them? Any ideas?
