Riddle Me This Batman

Hiking through a dry creek bed today, Tom notices weak footprints. Maybe Kobae's, maybe not. Tom and Kobae haven't hiked this way since summer last year. There have been massive rain storms since. If Kobae's, hard to imagine they survived one year. No rain in over two months. Not hard to imagine they survived two months. If so, Kobae is not alone. Friend or foe? No human footprints with them as today's. (Click on picture to expand).

You might be right. I remember the day we hiked this creek bed. We did 2.7 miles that day, the most we'd ever done up to them. These foot prints are similar between width as Kobae today, but he's twenty pounds larger than same time last year. It's spooky. And, only Sulcata's grow this big.
