Five Hot Dog Morning

A pattern has emerged with the Base Camp morning. Jax used to lay in the office window and look outside. Now I crack the front door to leave him room to go outside. He sits in the first chair to the right and enjoys the morning.
At some point Jax will come back in the office and jump up on his bed. That tells me the morning skunk is here and Jax, for a change, is trying to avoid conflict. It also means that I have to hustle to the kitchen in case the skunk followed Jax inside. If the skunk is inside when I enter the kitchen I tell it to go back outside and it does and waits on the porch while I get a container of hot dogs. The skunk will eat four hot dogs but I have to take five because Jax will take the first one so the skunk can't have it. Then when he leaves with it I can put the other four down.
