Chicken Corner

Teresa, Jax, and I made a side by side trip to Chicken Corner where none of us have been for quite awhile. The sign has no shortage of Chickens.

Many years ago, Bill who worked here at the time heard the stories of a marking for a passed Deputy Sheriff. Bill and I bought a saddle and lariot, put up a headstone with no writing on it. Over the years it has expanded, I don't know who is doing it.

There are two monuments of passed loved ones. Recently additional monuments and markings from the past are behind Chicken Corner.

There are also some petroglyphs. One says the last name Larsen probably the brother of Amasa Larsen who the Amaszback is named after. He has a signature down Dripping Springs.
