Never Saw This Before

As long as I've been here and I expect well before the ravens and hawks have been enimies. I've muliple times seen them fight and raid each other's nest to kill the young. The raven's have been an issue for me as they eat through and pull trash can lids off cans and leave trash every where. The hawks have constantly attacked the songbirds at each of the three feeding areas. The hawks would chase the birds into the windows and then grab them while they were dead or injured. I taped the windows and door glass with reflective tape to keep them from hitting the windows. But in most cases the birds don't muuch care what's in front of them they just know there's a hawk behind them. At one time I have ten injured birds flying around in the office.
I'm looking out the window the window and a hawk sweeps down into the feeding area across the driveway and snatches a songbird. A raven who is eating leftovers out of the fox bowl jumps up in the air and slams down onto the hawk on the other side of the fence. The hawk tries desperately to get away and takes off across the driveway with the raven right behind it. The hawk crashes into the window while the raven tried to get it under the front porch chairs and finally escapes. The raven flies back over to the feedin area and continues to eat Kit and Kaboodle. Jax in a box, Jax waiting to go hiking, and Jax coming back from the beach.
