The channel is still on our side of the river and it's eating a way at the bank every day to the point that it's a three of four foot drop off to get in the river. If you're taking dogs and or kids across the river it's some work to get to the sand bar beach. I decide to go by the boat ramp and it's perfect so I start sending people to the boat ramp where they can drive right down to it, walk through six inches of water and get on three sand bars, your own island. We start working on transferring the kayaks to the boat ramp.
