Strange Doings in No Man's Land

While Tom is exploring Evelyn has entered a basin area of No Man's Land and found 10 to 15 work stations where Indians of one sort or another made arrowheads. Numerous tools, flakes, and rocks not natural to the area are everywhere. Evelyn and Tom are both left to wonder why do you bring all these things to an area with no water and no access to water. Why are there no dwellings, no rock art, no pottery sherds, or any other sign of previous life? Strange doings.
