Surrounded by the Amasa Back, Hurrah Pass, Anticline, and Dead Horse Point and with the Colorado River running alongside, you’ve discovered Base Camp. A one of a kind wilderness lodge.
It's hot, it's dry, and the only source of water for the critters comes from the cisterns on the sides of the lodge. The Woodhouse toads have begun their migration to Base Camp for the summer.
Short fat toads...they look different than mine that hang out under the light above the house they attracts bugs. Do the snakes come to the lodge water supply too?
