Creatures of the Day

Not sure, Leopard Lizard, and a Stick Martian with big eyes looking through the window.

The Beach

Linny and Tom spend the morning trolling the beach and the first 20 feet of water taking out any sharp twigs or branches that a guest might step on at some point. However, eventually Linny gets a little distracted and starts working on her spelling and stick writing skills.

Anti Cline, Linny, Kobae, and Mama

The sun peeks through and lights up a bit of the Anti Cline, then a bit more, then really lights it up. As the day fades, Kobae finds a place to bed down for the night, throws some dirt on himself, and he's done. Linny (her pants aren't really that color) and Tom hike a couple miles back to the lodge, get the jeep and return to pick up their friend for safe transport to Base Camp. Mother Nature says good night from the Saddle.

Rabbit, Perfect Circle, Blackie, Thelma, and Louise

With Yeti gone, the rabbits have returned and patiently await Kobae leftovers.

A single blade sprouts from the earth and with the assistance of the wind create a perfect circle of Desert Art.

Linny and Tom haven't seen Blackie, Thelma and Louise for two days, but on a hike with Kobae, to the Catacombs, there they are.

Porch of the Lizard

Wednesday morning comes and Tom steps outside to find five lizards already hanging out on the front porch wall.

Kobae, Linny, and The Mule

Kobae on patrol and Linny waits for him in the shade. When it starts to get dark and your at Last Hurrah, best to just stick him in the Kawasaki Mule and bring him back that way.
