Much Happened

I just don't remember to take my camera all the time. I was thinking I hadn't had to do a rescue all year and then one of the cowboys showed up a couple weeks ago with family and he'd gotten his truck stuck in a creek bed. I gave him my white truck 150 and he came back the next day and returned it with his truck unstuck. A few days ago three bicycle riders came back from Jackson Hole on one of my side by sides that guests had rented. It was dark so we loaded their bikes in the back of the white 150 and took them to town. Last night two guys showed up in Chevy thinking they were checking in across the river. They said Google sent them here and I frequently explain that Mr. and Mrs. Google have never been here before so they don't know squat. We don't do one night rentals but they gave me all the money they had just short of a one night rental and we put them in the female hogans for one night.
Someone emailed and said they remember the place across the river was for sale and whatever happened. Well in short somebody paid a lot and was going to turn it into a luxury resort for $160 million. However one of the partners appeared to us to be drug runners. In time they got booted out. Somebody else came and put Geodesic Domes which all got flooded when the river rose. When it went down they replaced them with tents. They both look like shit. Doesn't seem like anything has happened since then. That's all I know.
I was trying to figure out when to get Kobae. There was a small window so Jax and I jumped in the truck and headed to San Diego. I stayed in a Motel Six in St. George and it was $50 including tax. What a deal. I now have a almost half way point to stay. On the way back I checked in to the Motel Six and didn't pay much attention to the bill but I will from now on. $50 Monday thru Thursday and $195 on Friday and Saturday, $217 with tax. Very difficult for poor Ze to get him in the truck but arriving at Base Camp I built a little ramp of suitcases, bags, and sleeping bags and he got out by himself.
