Actually it was a guest on the front row. They don't put seat belts in river boats that I've seen figuring more likely to sink then hit something I assume, but not on this day. Everybody else hit the seat in front of them but the front row got a little flight time.
I didn't do the last ten foot ledge because neither Chris or I was sure we could get back up without somebody to grab on to. Nobody saw impact. Eric jumped off just before it went over the edge. Could see his footprints where he landed. ATV is completely destroyed. I suspect for Eric it was a life changing moment. I've had two of those out here. The next day you wake up and say maybe you're not suppose to be here today. It's an extra day, as is each one after. Make it count. Make a difference.

Wow - quite a weekend at Base Camp! We miss you Tom, but I'm sort of glad we missed all your fun this weekend!

did you climb down right where the rope was? Did the atv role or just land and brake its axel?
