Surrounded by the Amasa Back, Hurrah Pass, Anticline, and Dead Horse Point and with the Colorado River running alongside, you’ve discovered Base Camp. A one of a kind wilderness lodge.
I'm really missing these incredible landscapes!!!! Now I remmeber them reading "Desert Solitaire" by Edward Abbey, the sory of six months spent in Arches/Canyonlands in 1968... A great hug from Italy to all base camp people (two or four legs...)
Hi Dario. I agree. Each evening I watch the amazing sunsets, life on the river, the ever changing colors of the landscape, and this week the moon lights up the night sky so you can see your shadow, and it's not even a half moon yet. Most nights through the telescope Jupiter has been averaging about four moons and even found Uranus a couple times. I don't know how it could get any better.
