Surrounded by the Amasa Back, Hurrah Pass, Anticline, and Dead Horse Point and with the Colorado River running alongside, you’ve discovered Base Camp. A one of a kind wilderness lodge.
Kobae spend his last day in San Diego.....eating, and his first day back in Moab......eating. Gifts Kobae left on the floor of the truck, a rest stop along the way, and seven, juvenile female big horn, remotely interested in the truck as it returns to Base Camp.
Thanks Kelly. Kobae loves to hike and eat. He spent a couple hours sitting in the sun then went into his abode to sleep. He does this when he arrives at Base Camp each year. Takes him a little while to adjust. He'll come out when he feels comfortable. He'll be back in San Diego mid October somewhere.

It was so nice to meet you the other day while you were walking Kobae. My boys are still taking about the tortoise!
