The Ones Before Us

I met Linda in Salt Lake over the weekend. We visited her twin sister.

Then we visited my best friend in the whole world's twin sister.

Then my grandma, my father, my mother, and then my brother was added.

At my brother Pat's gatherine several of us got up and said a few words about a very nice guy we all knew. Then it was ask if there was anybody else. A small child got up and walked to the front. Maybe five years old. He took the microphone said how nice his grandpa was. How much he liked him. Then he said "I still don't understand how my grandpa died." I was holding up pretty good until then. In Moab my hiking friend didn't leave the bed on my desk hardly at all. I got back a little after midnight.

Kobae has finally moved into his house frum he laundry room. He likes it. Comes out of his house to the porch to eat and then back home.

Jax and I both got haircuts.

Jax and I took some guests down to Kayak and hung out in the shade after getting them launched up the river.

On a journey to Chicken Corner the directional sign is coming back to live. Every so often the BLM it seems takes all the decoration signs now but it's coming back.

Hayduke

Jarhead and Dirty A came through and ask about water down to Needles and I didn't have an answer. A few people have told me they'd send an update on Hayduke but hadnt got one yet. But Jarhead and Dirty A send me one yesterday. "We got water from the Colorado River after your place." The unnamed spring at mile 65 was very akaline. Indian Creek was suppose to have a nice pool of water but that was not the case. There was one decent pool where someone had drawn an arrow in the sand pointing to it. Indian Springs was very akaline. We drank some of it because we had to but overall it's not good. There's a very nice pool in We Hope So Wash 38,24268, -109.79007 After your house there is no water for 35 miles We hope you have an awesone summer. Jarhead and Dirty A.
