The InBetween Land
There is a land between the north side of this property and Jackson Hole. It's a land of canyon and mesa. A beautiful land. Jax and I are exploring the InBetween Land until we know the InBtween Land and it's secrets.
We're Empty
The Thanksgiving weekend and the few days after were pretty much the end of the season. To me this is the best hiking time of the season. Jax and I usually head out about noon or so and pick the direction at the bottom of the driveway. It's perfect temps. T-shirt, flannel long sleeve, and vest. Once you're hiked for half an hour you're more than warm. We try and head out to places we haven't visited in quite awhile. We swung by the old sheep pen where Pinto, Thelmas, and Louise use to live. We found tracks heading downhill into the bottom of the canyons below Hurrah Pass. It seemed as if the tracks were searching for water holes as they always veered toward where there was substantial vegetation. I thought the tracks which were dated weren't cowboy boots so not likely it was the cowboys looking for water for their herd.

Suburban
Suburban showed up little while ago with six or so disc golfers in it. I think about the only other one I've seen is daughter Heather drives one out here each year when they visit.
Foxes
We have the most gray foxes I've ever seen in the near completion of the 18 years I've been here. Two nights in a row while the 15 to 20 gray foxes are gathering in the parking lot waiting for the hot dog throw a all black bobca ran up the driveway and into the gathering. They all seem to have gotten away. However while Jax and I were out hiking we found one that didn't get away from something.
