Adjustments

When the rains come we're in a bowl and all the water in the valley comes down one of the creeks and heads for the river. One very annoying spot is our driveway by the Base Camp sign just as you enter the property. I've seen it come through there hundreds of times and if it goes down the road instead of the normally dry waterfall it will usually leave a three foot deep trench down the driveway that takes several hours for the three of us to fill in. This time after the last flood I had Doug's new guy take the front end loader and build a mound where the water comes out of the canyon to divert it to the normally dry waterfall. This is only the 2nd rain since the ground adjustment but so far we're two for two.
