Mother of all Walks




Kobae takes Tom on the Mother of all Walks. When the wind kicks up and the rain starts, Kobae crawls into a bush to sleep for the night and refuses to move. Tom carries Kobae's 43 pounds, 1.2 miles back to the lodge.

When Tom returned Bill had constructed a ramp for Kobae to the front porch and a hogan for Kobae to stay cool in. When Tom next visited the fallen cowboy marker, someone had cleaned it up and put a lariat on it. Bill, class act.
