What?

Linny and Tom go to a fight, then without warning, in overtime, a very good hockey game breaks out.

Mama He's/She's Crazy

Tom occasionally will find an orange flag posted on the side of the road for notice and wind direction on his drive to Base Camp. That means somebody has completely lost their mind and is about to jump off a cliff. First he, than she.

Saturday Night at the Fights

During Friday night's Utah/Stockton match, with five seconds to go, huge fight broke out. With three seconds to go, another fight, and at the conclusion the one at the end of the last post. Apparently having 22 hours to cool down wasn't long enough as 2 seconds into tonight's game, everybody went at it, then it got worse, and then it got really bad.

Something Changed

During winter months Tom crumbles bread into small pieces and feeds the birds each morning waiting patiently in the bushes and trees just off the front porch. A sparrow hawk has begun following the birds trying to pick them off when they go to open ground for bread crumbs. Tom began placing the bread under the trees and shrubs in tight spaces near the porch to deter the sparrow hawk. Today, the birds waited high in the bushes and trees and would not come to ground near the front porch. They know something Tom doesn't know.

There's Nobody Here

No boats on the river. No vehicle tracks coming off Hurrah other than Tom. Occasional visits by deer and big horn and three flock of birds visit each day for their bread feeding. There is no sound. It's winter in the canyon lands.
