Such a Year

Last year Kobae ame out two weeks before he started hiking in past years and this year he has come out a week earlier than that. Four days in a row. They are short hikes but it's unusualy that he's even doing that.
It seems like much of tha tamarisk is dead the beetles finally doing their work.
For the next month or so won't be many sunsets that look like this. Every day the forecast says 10 to 40% chance of thunderstorms. They will come at some point and we have to be ready. Kobae wanting to go hiking is only a few days away and whoever goes with him will have to be prepared because this time of year the storms come from the south, Gulf of Mexico and they are monsoons sometimes.
