Dripping Springs, Choke Point

On this day Jax and I are hiking Dripping Springs to the very end. It's a hike.

The canyon grows more narrow the further back you go. Finally there is a spring that blocks the canyon. A choke point and you have to walk around a slanted slippery ledge to get past it but we won't be doing it today as it's already going to be a fight to get back to the truck before dark.

we're not going to make it back by dark if we take the creek bed but then we found a cow trail headed that way free of obstacles and we took that getting back half an hour before dark.
