New to the Party
When I go through the day's videos to see if there's anything new or something worth posting I do it usually at four times speed (sometimes eight if there's nothing near the camera). I was probably three or four minutes past what I'm about to show you when I realized something was different. I went back through it in regular speed and even then it took a minute to register. While male Juncos have black heads and chests and adult White-crowned sparrows have black stripes on their head I just saw somebody that had both. Later glassing (binocs) the feeding area I found three of them. Welcome the Black-throated sparrow.
