The Story As I Know It

It's Friday evening, November 19th, 2010. Ranger Brody Young is checking out a parked car with a single occupant at the Poison Spider trail head. Brody with nine bullets in him returns fire and thinks he hit him. The car is found abandoned about a mile from Base Camp on the other side of the river which can easily be walked across at that time of the year. With hundreds of law enforcement on hand the search begins. For a week the manhunt goes on around Caveman Ranch and the Base Camp properties while Brody fights for his life. Finding the perps rifle, pistol holster, backpack, and a tourniquet soaked with blood after a week the search is called off assuming he's crawled into one of the many overhangs or caves and passed. Months later Linny is in town depositing $252 in her account at Wells Fargo. The Branch Manager asks Linny if there's anything else she can do for her. Spotting a picture of Brody on the wall and an account set up in his name Linny asks to deposit all of her money in Ranger Brody's account. When ask if she was sure that's what she wanted to do Linny replied "Who got shot, not me." On April 3rd, 2014 a lone figure on a motorcycle comes up the Base Camp driveway. Back on duty and with unfinished business Ranger Brody Young has come to thank Linny for her help when it was needed the most.

Great update. She did a fine, generous thing, and so did you. Those are great smiles on their faces.

Now that is one hell of a story. Linny is one amazing kiddo. You can take credit for her incredible heart and world view. Big hugs for such a wonderful human being.

you forgot to mention the part where you matched her donation and/or topped up her account. It's no wonder she's such a cool kid with influence like that.
