Where's the Water?

For a week Tom's been wondering what the allure of the False Kiva (six kivas) village location is. There's a great view for protection and he's found numerous deer and big horn tracks for food but the only water source he's found is the river and he's yet to find a way down to the river from on top of Amasa Back. Hiking back from the river rim today he found a partial answer. It's been right at a week since it rained but Tom finds hundreds of pot holes mostly full of water and less than a fifteen minute hike from the Kiva village.
