From the tee on seven facing the lodge and then the basket in the other direction.
Surrounded by the Amasa Back, Hurrah Pass, Anticline, and Dead Horse Point and with the Colorado River running alongside, you’ve discovered Base Camp. A one of a kind wilderness lodge.

Kobae's New Adventure III
Kobae's New Adventure
Though the tortoise books all say Sulcata's struggle at about 55 degrees or below, Kobae set out the door this morning in 42 degree weather. Tom told Bill he had seen Kobae shut down on 55 degree days and he'd be right back. Bill called two hours later two miles away. Tom took the next seven hour shift and probably another four or five miles and some incredible rock formations while Kobae followed a Big Horn trail.

The Geese Takers

After an early morning stakeout the Geese takers are identified. Who knew? Not Tom. They moved too fast to get a camera shot but this picture from an online river otter site is similar. There are at least three of them.
